Breakfast Program

The Halton Learning Foundation raises funds to support breakfast and nutrition programs in Halton schools.  More than 48 student nutrition programs are run in Halton District Board of Education schools by the Halton Food for Thought (HFFT) agency.  Programs include full breakfast programs, Grab and Go baskets, and healthy snacks.

Volunteers are a critical component of the HFFT program and come from the parent community, teaching staff, local churches, business and community organizations. Teachers report an overall improvement in student behavior and learning abilities thanks to the nutrition programs.

Hayden’s Breakfast Club

Hayden continues to offer a Breakfast Club.

The Breakfast Club offers students in need of breakfast with a variety of food, free of charge, including bagels, yogurts and cereals, every morning from 8:00am – 8:30am in the Cafeteria.
